Cllr Anna Pascoe

Cllr Anna Pascoe

Anna Pascoe has lived in Camborne all of her life and is now a town councillor, and a former district councillor for Camborne North.

She is passionate about working for a fair deal for the town in which she grew up.

Since becoming a Councillor, Anna has helped residents with tenants issues, cleared up fly-tipping and graffiti, campaigned against the closure of Camborne Job Centre and lobbied against the reduction in full-time fire cover at Camborne Fire Station.

Recently, Anna passed a motion through Camborne Town Council resolving to arrange a community event in order to celebrate St Piran’s Day for the residents of Camborne.

Additionally, she has supported the Street Pastors scheme, the Homelessness Action Group and the Alcohol Harm Reduction Initiative.

Anna is currently campaigning with the aid of her New Year’s Resolution; to only buy local produce from local shops. She has linked this with the launch of the Chamber of Commerce’s “shopcamborne” directory.

When Anna is not working for the residents of Camborne, she is a hotel manager in St Ives, plays Netball for Camborne Park, and is a trustee of the Hub Club sports project, which aims to widen involvement in club sports in the West Cornwall area.
